Welcome to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish!

Each time we look upon Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, He raises us up into deeper union with Himself, opens up the floodgates of His merciful love to the whole world, and brings us closer to the day of His final victory "where every knee will bend and proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord". "The reign of God is already in your midst." The coming of Jesus to us in the Eucharist is assurance of His promise of final victory: "BEHOLD, I COME TO MAKE ALL THINGS NEW."

Praise be Jesus Christ!

Welcome to the web page of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish. On Sunday, June 25, 2006, St. Clare Parish in North Lake, Wisconsin and St. John the Baptist Parish in Monches, Wisconsin merged. The merger was celebrated by parishioners of the former parishes who gathered for Mass with Bishop Richard Sklba, the auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Nine sisters of the Missionaries of Charity from Chicago were our honored guests at the Holy Eucharist.

As pastor of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Congregation, I take my place among God's people in a history that has spanned over one hundred and sixty-three years in this part of the archdiocese.

However, on June 25, 2006, we began a new chapter in our journey under the patronage of Mother Teresa who was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 19, 2003. With Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and Blessed Teresa, we face the future with joyful hope, increased faith, and a lively charity.

Fr. Anthony T. McCarthy, Pastor
